Who’s responsible for “Watch the Throne”?

You might go blind.
This is not a review of the well received album. In fact, I will freely admit that while I listened to the whole album, I was pretty bored and I do not remember most of it.
However, I’m interested in who I have to blame thank for this album. I understand that Kanye is the “musical” force behind the production and all the rest of that stuff. But who is responsible for how it sounds, how I feel when I listen to it. I am a major fan of both these people and I was even a fan of the blueprint 3 which many people were not.
I think its boring. Who’s fault is that? I don’t know.
The music isn’t boring necessarily. While there is nothing on here that is as memorable as the stuff on MDTF (or is it MTDR), it’s not an unenjoyable album. Both rappers know how to rap and I’m pretty sure they acquitted themselves well, though I can’t quite remember.
I blame lack of purpose. Which is me saying both of them basically. The album was too laid back, without actually being laid back. It wasnt a stoner album. Its J and ‘Ye. But it felt like a hobby. and not a cool hobby like manhunting. A kinda cool hobby like… collecting sneakers… (Which is actually a pretty pointless hobby come to think of it, is it even a hobby).
Anyway. I was bored and I’m unwilling to blame myself. Maybe its like the album was a party. I came late to the party and everyone was having a great time. In the morning I woke up with no memory of what happen and a missing shoe. Which is a good time but I was expecting..
To wake up with in bed with 3 hot girls and a fat guy in a thong, wondering if I had done something gay, half my beard shaved, my wallet missing, somebody elses (I assume) shit stains on my pants in a neighbourhood I don’t remember getting to…. Maybe its my fault.
